Abstract:

A rubber spring apparatus (30) is composed of rigid sheets (32) and rubber layers (33) which are alternately bonded together and laminated into a plurality of layers. The rigid sheets (32) are structured in such a manner that the length (W) disposed in the direction parallel with the longitudinal direction of an equalizer bar (23) in a planar shape is shorter than the length (H) disposed in the direction parallel with the axle direction of a vehicle. The rubber spring apparatus (30) is arranged between an end of the equalizer bar (23) and the center vehicle axle (13) in an articulated dump truck, and is made to function as suspension. Thus, the peak position of the internal stress inside the rubber layers (33) can be dispersed and reduced, and the generation of cracks inside the rubber layers can be prevented, even if the rubber spring apparatus (30) distorts into an accordion shape.
