Abstract:
An offshore floating structure that comprises an oil tank 18 that is a zone 0 hazardous area. A cofferdam 25 and a fore peak tank 24 are arranged between the oil tank 18 and a fire pump seawater supply pump chamber 26 at which a bow fire pump 30P is arranged, and a cargo pump chamber 34 and a cofferdam 38 are arranged between the oil tank 18 and a machinery room 36 at which a stern fire pump 36P is arranged, which prevents the compartments at which apparatuses related to the safety of a ship are arranged from being adjacent to the zone 0 hazardous area.
