Abstract:
Provided are: an oil for a carbon-fiber precursor, said oil improving the processability of a carbon-fiber precursor by imparting excellent antistatic and sizing properties thereto, and suppressing the formation of rust on a machine producing the carbon fiber precursor; and a carbon fiber precursor, to which the carbon-fiber precursor oil is adhered. This oil for a carbon-fiber precursor contains: a base component; a cationic surfactant containing a specific nitrogen-containing compound; and a non-ionic surfactant.
