Title:
OIL CHECK SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/150688
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is an oil check sensor which can perform accurate measurement even if the oil is flowing. The output is a stepped output. On a cylindrical magnet (2) placed in the oil, a pair of ring-shaped electrodes (A, B) to be fitted on the magnet (2) is disposed with a gap in the axial direction therebetween. The variation of the resistance value due to metal powder adhering between the electrodes (A, B) is compared with reference values Vb1 to Vbn. The comparison results area added, and the result of the addition is outputted. In such a way, detection circuits which output constant voltages when the resistance value comes equal to or less than a set value are provided, and the measured resistance value is outputted in stages. Therefore, the sensor body (11) can accurately measure the deterioration of the oil even if metal powder adheres to the upstream of the flow of the oil.
