Abstract:
An oil control valve mounting structure includes: a resin cover (5) formed by insert-molding a metal cylindrical body (4); a valve sleeve (3) arranged inside the cylindrical body (4); and a spool (2) inserted into the valve sleeve (3). The oil control valve mounting structure further includes an engagement unit (19) which functions at least in one end portion (14) of the cylindrical body (4) in the axial direction of the valve sleeve (3) to cause the cover (5) to be engaged with an interior-facing plane (15b) facing the interior of the valve sleeve (3) at the end of the cylindrical body (4) in the axial direction of the valve sleeve (3) so as to regulate displacement of the cover (5) apart from the cylindrical body (4) in the axial direction of the valve sleeve (3).
