Title:
OIL DRILLING AUXILIARY DISPERSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/050187
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an oil drilling auxiliary dispersion comprising a polyglycolic acid resin having a weight average molecular weight of 70,000-500,000 in a finely divided solid state dispersed in an aqueous medium, the weight retention of the polyglycolic acid resin in water at 80°C being 85% or more after 12 hours, 80% or less after 72 hours and 45% or less after 168 hours. In a drilling operation for re-expanding oil production, the polyglycolic acid resin in a finely divided solid state contained in the oil drilling auxiliary dispersion acts as a fluid loss control additive having an ideal degradability with respect to controlling the liquid permeability at the start of the operation as well as recovering the liquid permeability at the end of the operation as required in the formation in the vicinity of the oil well.
