Abstract:
An oil-free compressor 1 is provided with: an oil-less first-stage compressor body 4; an oil-less second-stage compressor body 6 connected downstream of the first-stage compressor body 4 with respect to the flow of air; a suction valve 2 connected upstream of the first-stage compressor body 4 with respect to the flow of air; a pipe 8e connecting a takeoff point P1 between the first-stage compressor body 4 and the second-stage compressor body 6 to a merging point P2 between the suction valve 2 and the first-stage compressor body 4, in such a way as to allow air to flow; and a gate valve 26 which is provided in such a way as to be capable of shutting off the flow of air through the pipe 8e, and which is opened in synchronism with the closing of the suction valve.
