Abstract:
An oil-free screw compressor having: a screw rotor provided with a screw part and a shaft part; a bearing for supporting the shaft part; a first seal part disposed between the screw part and the bearing, the first seal part facing the shaft part; a first shaft-sealing device provided with a first communication part that allows communication for an outer peripheral surface and the bearing side in relation to the space between the shaft part and the first seal part; a second seal part disposed between the first shaft-sealing device and the bearing, the second seal part facing the shaft part; and a second shaft-sealing device provided with a second communication part that allows communication for the outer peripheral surface and the screw part side in relation to the space between the shaft part and the second seal part. The casing is provided with an atmosphere communication part connected to both the first and second communication parts at the inner peripheral surface of the shaft housing space of the casing, the atmosphere communication part communicating the first and second communication parts with the atmosphere.
