Abstract:
Provided is an oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic that exhibits excellent blending stability with a solid oil-soluble UV absorber, that sinks well into skin, that exhibits little stickiness, that exhibits excellent stability over time, and that has a high moisturizing effect. The oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic is an oil-in-water emulsion composition comprising the following components (A)-(C): (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl or an alkenyl ether in which the carbon number of an alkyl group or an alkenyl group is 20-24 and the average added mole number of ethylene oxide is 1.5-4; (B) a polar oil that is a liquid at 25 °C and that has an IOB value between 0.2 and 0.6; (C) a UV absorber that is a solid at 25 °C.
