Title:
OIL-IN-WATER EMULSION COMPOSITION AND COSMETIC
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/192692
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an oil-in-water emulsion composition comprising a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 8 or greater (component (A)), a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of less than 8 (component (B)), an oil-based component (component (C)), a polyalcohol (component (D)), a water-soluble polymer (component (E)), and water (component (F)), said oil-in-water emulsion composition being characterized in that: with respect to the total mass of said oil-in-water emulsion composition, the total amount of said component (A) and said component (B) is 0.1-10 mass%, the proportion of said component (C) is 1-40 mass%, the proportion of said component (D) is 2-30 mass%, the proportion of said component (E) is 0.001-5 mass%, and the proportion of said component (F) is 40 mass% or greater; and the mass ratio between said component (A) and said component (B) is from 1:99 to 1:4. With the present invention, it is possible to provide an oil-in-water emulsion composition that spreads easily on the skin, provides a fresh and moist feel to the skin, provides a long-lasting soft and moist feel after being rubbed on, has excellent water resistance, exhibits low secondary adhesion, and has excellent stability over time.
