Abstract:
[Problem] The present invention pertains to an oil-in-water-type emulsified cosmetic having a fine particulate inorganic powder formulated in an aqueous system, the fine particulate inorganic powder having a first coating layer containing silica and an outermost surface subjected to hydrophobic treatment, and in particular provides an oil-in-water-type emulsified cosmetic in which the feel, function, and stability are improved by including a water-swelling substance as an aqueous thickener. [Solution] An oil-in-water-type emulsified cosmetic, characterized in containing (A) a fine particulate inorganic powder having a first coating layer that contains silica and an outermost surface that has been subjected to hydrophobic organic surface treatment, and (B) at least one type of water-swelling substance.
