Abstract:
An oil return control method for an air conditioner, comprising: when it is detected that a current power-on operation state of an outdoor unit meets a preset condition and a continuous duration after the power-on operation reaches a first preset duration, controlling the outdoor unit to perform an oil return operation, and setting the number of start-stop times to an initial value (S100); when the oil return operation is completed, detecting in real time whether the outdoor unit has a start-stop operation (S200); when the outdoor unit has a start-stop operation, updating the number of start-stop times (S300); and when the updated number of start-stop times reaches a preset number and the outdoor unit is currently in a start operating state, controlling the outdoor unit to perform the oil return operation (S400). The oil return control method implements the oil return of the outdoor unit according to the number of start-stop times of the outdoor unit, thereby effectively solving the problem of insufficient lubricating oil of a compressor and improving the service life of the outdoor unit.
