Abstract:
This oil separator structure for an engine is provided with a bowl-shaped head cover and a partitioning plate. The partitioning plate is a plate body that is provided so as to close part of an opening in the head cover, and that, together with the head cover, constitutes a passage for a blow-by gas therebetween. Part of the partitioning plate is open, and an oil storage container that stores separated and liquefied oil is provided to the open portion of the partitioning plate, on the side opposite from the head cover. A wall surface part of the oil storage container is formed into a convex shape protruding into the head cover. A drain valve is provided to the oil storage container in a bottom-side portion of a side wall surface part extending along the depth direction of the oil storage container.
