Abstract:
This oil supply device for an engine is provided with: an oil pump having a controllable discharge amount; an oil supply path for supplying oil to a hydraulic operation part of the engine; an oil cooler which is provided to the oil supply path, and which cools the oil discharged from the oil pump; and a control device which sets, as a target oil pressure, an oil pressure requested for the hydraulic operation part in accordance with the operation state of the engine, and controls the discharge amount of the oil pump such that the oil pressure inside the oil supply path becomes the target oil pressure. Furthermore, when an operation state of the engine is present, e.g. when the oil enters a prescribed high-oil-temperature state, the control device controls the oil pump such that an amount of oil is discharged which exceeds the discharge amount corresponding to the oil pressure requested for the hydraulic operation part in accordance with the operation state of the engine.
