Abstract:
The oily humectant comprises component A, which is ditrimethylolpropane, and component B, which is an esterified product of one or more fatty acids selected from C6-12 saturated fatty acids, or comprises component A, component B, and component C, which is an esterified product of one or more fatty acids selected from C13-28 fatty acids. The hydroxyl value of the esterified products is 140 mg KOH/g or less, and the mass ratio of component A and the fatty acid residues derived from component B and fatty acid residues derived from component C in the fatty acid residues that constitute the esterified products of component B and component C is 99.9:0.1 to 60:40.
