Abstract:
The present invention relates to an olefin block copolymer that exhibits superior elasticity and heat resistance, and to a method for preparing the copolymer. The olefin block copolymer comprises a plurality of blocks or segments containing an ethylene-based or propylene-based repeating unit and an α-olefin-based repeating unit, wherein the two units have different weight fractions. The olefin block copolymer has a density of 0.85g/cm3 to 0.92g/cm3, and a predetermined relationship between the density of X (g/cm3) and a TMA value of Y (°C) is satisfied.
