Abstract:
Provided is an α-olefin polymer that satisfies the belowmentioned (1)-(4): (1) the average number of carbon atoms in the α-olefin that configures the polymer is 6.0-14 inclusive; (2) molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) ≤ 2.0; (3) 3,000 ≤ weight average molecular weight (Mw) ≤ 600,000; and (4) (Log10Mp - Log10M1) - (Log10M2 - Log10Mp) ≥ 0.2 (In the formula, M1 is the molecular weight at the peak starting point in a chart that measures by means of gel permeation chromatography, Mp is the molecular weight at the peak top, and M2 is the molecular weight at the peak end point).
