Title:
OLEFIN SELECTIVE ADSORBENT USING POROUS BODY HAVING OXIDATION-REDUCTION ACTIVITY, AND METHOD FOR SEPARATING OLEFIN BY USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/088822
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to: an olefin selective adsorbent in which a copper (II) salt is reduced to a copper (I) salt and dispersed in coordinatively unsaturated metal sites, of the backbone, on the surface or within the pores of a porous metal organic framework; and a method for separating an olefin from an olefin-paraffin mixture by using the same. The olefin adsorbent of the present invention has a high olefin/paraffin selectivity and a high propylene working capacity and repeated adsorption/desorption ability in an operation condition (1-10 atm) of a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) process or an operation condition (0.1-1 atm) of a vacuum swing adsorption (VSA) process, can separate various olefin/paraffin mixtures such as ethylene/ethane and butylene/butane, and can exhibit an effect of enabling olefin and paraffin products with a high purity to be produced. The method of the present invention exhibits a high separation effect without high costs, and thus has an effect of enabling the economic feasibility of olefin/paraffin separation to improve.
