Abstract:
The present invention relates to: artificially manipulated factors, related to the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids, for increasing the amount of specific unsaturated fatty acids in a plant body; and a use thereof and, more specifically, to: a system enabling artificial regulation of the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids, the system comprising artificially manipulated factors, related to the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids, for regulating the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids, and/or a composition enabling the artificial manipulation of factors related to the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids; and a plant body produced thereby. In particular, the present invention relates to a system for regulating the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids through artificially manipulated factors, related to the biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids, such as FAD2, FAD3, FAD6, FAD7, and FAD8 and/or an expression product thereof.
