Title:
OLIVE-SHAPED ASYMMETRIC BIDIRECTIONAL CONICAL THREAD CONNECTION PAIR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/192580
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An olive-shaped asymmetric bidirectional conical thread connection pair, comprising an external thread (9) and an internal thread (6) threadedly matching each other, wherein the body of the internal thread (6) is a helical bidirectional conical hole (41) on the inner surface of a cylindrical base body (2) and exists in the form of a "non-physical space", and the external thread (9) is a helical bidirectional truncated cone body (71) on the outer surface of a columnar base body (3) and exists in the form of a "physical matter". A complete thread unit is a helical olive-shaped bidirectional conical body (93) with the left taper (95) larger than and/or smaller than the right taper (96) and having a larger middle portion and two smaller ends. The performance mainly depends on the conical surfaces and tapers of threaded bodies matching each other. The bidirectional conical holes (41) and the bidirectional truncated cone bodies (71) constitute conical pairs by receiving the cone bodies in the conical holes so as to form the thread pairs (10) by means of the internal and external threads (6, 9), so that helical conical surfaces of inner and outer cones are in fixed-diameter fit or fixed-diameter interference, thereby achieving tightly fixing and connection functions as well as self-locking and self-positioning functions.
