Abstract:
An omnidirectional camera mounted at a vehicle rooftop comprises a mounting base (1) having camera mounting surfaces (11) surrounding the mounting base (1). Respective cameras (2) are mounted on the camera mounting surfaces (11). Fill lights (3) are also mounted on the camera mounting surfaces (11) of the mounting base (1), and disposed surrounding the lenses. By mounting the cameras (2) around the mounting base (1), a photograph of the surrounding area can be taken in a normal state at the mounting base (1) via the cameras (2), satisfying a need for omnidirectional viewing and monitoring when driving or reversing a vehicle. When being connected to a display or a storage device, the camera (2) can display and store collected omnidirectional images, thereby providing a rear view reversing image and serving as a car recorder. The omnidirectional vehicle camera is simple in structure and suitable for industrial production, can be used on a rooftop of a vehicle having any specification, has a wide application range, and in particular, can be mounted via a rotational rod at a fin-shaped portion on a vehicle rooftop.
