Abstract:
An omnidirectional obstacle avoidance apparatus, a tripod head, a tripod head control method, and an obstacle avoidance control method, the omnidirectional obstacle avoidance apparatus comprising: a binocular camera assembly, used for simultaneous collection of two image frames of a target in a scene; a dual axis rotating assembly, used for controlling the rotation of the entire binocular camera assembly; and the binocular camera assembly is mounted on the dual access rotating assembly; the actual distance of a target from the flying apparatus is calculated in real time on the basis of the two image frames acquired by the binocular camera assembly. The present apparatus and method can implement an omnidirectional obstacle avoidance effect whilst reducing costs and not increasing the amount of data calculation.
