Abstract:
An image in which a blind spot area is eliminated can be obtained while ensuring a high-view angle. An omnidirectional photographing system therefore comprises: a main mirror (101) consisting of a hyperbolic mirror; a plurality of sub-mirrors (102) disposed around the main mirror and each consisting of a hyperbolic mirror; and a camera (104) for photographing an image reflected by the main mirror and images reflected by the sub-mirrors. The outer focus of the hyperbolic surface of the main mirror and the outer focuses of the hyperbolic surfaces of the sub-mirrors are substantially consistent with each other. The camera (104) is disposed so that a camera view point corresponding to the entrance pupil position of a lens attached to the camera (104) and the outer focuses of the hyperbolic surfaces of the main mirror (101) and the sub-mirrors (102) are substantially consistent with each other.
