Abstract:
Disclosed are an omnidirectional wheel (10) and a robot having the omnidirectional wheel (10). The omnidirectional wheel (10) comprises a wheel hub (11) and a plurality of driven wheels (16) arranged at the periphery of the wheel hub (11). Each of the driven wheels (16) comprises a wheel shaft (17) and a wheel body (18). The wheel shaft (17) extends through the wheel body (18), and two opposite ends of the wheel shaft protrude from the wheel body (18). The two opposite ends of the wheel shaft (17) are fixed to the wheel hub (11). The outer surface of the wheel body (18) is provided with a tread pattern (182). Since the tread pattern (182) is arranged on the surface of the driven wheels (16) of the omnidirectional wheel (10), the grip force of the omnidirectional wheel (10) can be increased, thereby improving the motion efficiency and controllability of the omnidirectional wheel (10).
