Abstract:

Provided are an onboard communication device, a communication program, and a message transmission method that can be expected to enable effective utilization of communication bandwidth, reduce communication delay, etc. An onboard communication device according to the present embodiment comprises: a sorting processing unit for executing a process of sorting messages to be transmitted to another device into a plurality of groups; and a message transmission unit for selecting a group using a prescribed order and transmitting messages sorted into the selected group to the other device. The onboard communication device is connected to the other device via a plurality of communication lines, and the message transmission unit may, for each communication line, select a group and transmit messages using the prescribed order. In addition, the sorting processing unit may sort messages to be transmitted to the other device into a first group and a second group, and the message transmission unit may alternately transmit, to the other device, messages sorted into the first group and messages sorted into the second group.
