Abstract:
An onboard communication system including a first and a second switch device for relaying, via a transmission line, information between a plurality of function units mounted in a vehicle, the first switch device supplying a power supply voltage to one or a plurality of the function units connected thereto and the second switch device via the transmission line upon receiving supply of the power supply voltage via an exclusive line for power supply from a power supply device mounted in the vehicle, and the second switch device extracting the power supply voltage from the transmission line and supplying the power supply voltage to one or a plurality of the function units connected thereto via the transmission line.
