An onboard device control system comprises an onboard device controller for controlling an onboard device mounted in a vehicle and a storage medium storing user identification information including biological information representing a biological feature of a person who wants to use the onboard device. The onboard device controller has biological information acquiring means for acquiring biological information representing a biological feature of a person who wants to use the onboard device, storage means for storing permitted user identification information including biological information representing a biological feature of the user who is permitted to use the vehicle, authentication means for checking the biological information acquired by the biological information acquiring means with the permitted user identification information stored in the storage means and, on the basis of the result of the check, authenticating the person who wants to use the onboard device as a user who is permitted to use the vehicle, control means for controlling the onboard device in response to the result of the authentication by the authenticating means, and reading means for reading the user identification information stored in the storage medium.
