Abstract:
A door-controlling system (1) is provided with an onboard device (20) mounted in a railcar (10), and an on-ground device (40) installed in individual stations. The onboard device (20) and the on-ground device (40) can communicate wirelessly with one another. The onboard device (20) determines, on the basis of the travel position, travel speed, and braking state of a railcar in which the onboard device (20) is mounted, whether door-opening criteria indicating that the railcar has stopped at a particular position in a station have been fulfilled. If the criteria have been fulfilled, a railcar door (30) is opened, and an instruction signal to open a platform door (52) is transmitted to the on-ground device (40).
