Abstract:
Provided are an onboard locking device and a locking system with which it is possible to automatically lock a vehicle door after a portable device is confirmed to be outside the vehicle and separated from the vehicle by a prescribed distance or more. An onboard locking device 1 that, when a vehicle door D provided to a vehicle C has been closed, communicates wirelessly with a portable device 3, and locks a vehicle door D according to the result of the wireless communication, is provided with a distance specifying unit for specifying the distance of the portable device 3 relative to the vehicle C using the wireless communication with the portable device 3, a determination unit for determining whether the distance specified by the distance specification unit is equal to or greater than the prescribed distance, and a locking unit for locking the vehicle door D when the distance has been determined by the determination unit to be equal to or greater than the prescribed distance.
