Abstract:
A one-handed operation method for a terminal, and a terminal. The method comprises the steps of: setting an operating area of an application icon selection program on a screen of a terminal; selecting at least one application icon on the terminal to be an application icon which is displayed by default in the operating area through a predetermined algorithm; when the application icon selection program is enabled, displaying the application icon which is displayed by default on a current interface of the terminal; and operating the application icon in the operating area, with an application program corresponding to the application icon responding. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, it is relatively convenient and fast to conduct a one-handed operation on a terminal with a large screen.
