Abstract:
This one-side-protected polarizing film with an adhesive layer has a polarizer that contains a polyvinyl alcohol resin, contains 20 wt% or less of boric acid relative to the total quantity of the polarizer, has a thickness of 10 μm or less, and has prescribed optical characteristics. The film thickness of the adhesive layer is less than 50 μm, and if the storage modulus of the adhesive layer at 23 °C is termed G (Pa) and the film thickness is termed H (μm), when 50 > H ≥ 32, G > 210e0.2035H is satisfied, and when 32 > H > 0, G > 35000e0.0433H is satisfied. In this one-side-protected polarizing film with an adhesive layer, the polarizer has prescribed optical characteristics, and defects resulting from through-cracks and nanoslits can be suppressed.
