Abstract:
Provided are a one-side submerged arc welding method and a one-side submerged arc welding device configured so that the following are provided on the terminal side of a steel plate: a welding speed transition section, in which the welding speed of regular welding is reduced to 80% or less of the speed of the regular welding; and a low welding speed section, from the endpoint of the welding speed transition section to the terminal of the steel plate, in which welding is performed at a welding speed 80% or less of the speed of the regular welding. The welding speed transition section is set to be longer than 200 mm and no more than 1000 mm, and the low welding speed section is set to a section from a position at least 100 mm and less than 1000 mm to the front of the terminal of the steel plate to the terminal.
