Abstract:
This one-surface-protected polarizing film comprises a polarizer and a protective film disposed over only one surface thereof, and has a transparent resin layer disposed on at least one surface of the polarizer. The protective film has been disposed directly on the polarizer surface or with the transparent resin layer interposed therebetween, which has been disposed on at least one surface of the polarizer. The transparent resin layer contains at least one salt selected from among inorganic salts of alkali metals and inorganic salts of alkaline-earth metals. The one-surface-protected polarizing film has crack resistance and, when subjected to a high-temperature high-humidity test, can be inhibited from deceasing in optical property and from bluing.
