Abstract:

A system for accessing multiple different network station without entry of a password includes first (40), second (30) and third (80) network station. The first network station represents a network entity and transmits a request for authentication of a user seeking access. A second network station represents the user user and has a user ID, a symmetric key and a public key pair with a split private key. A third network station represents a sponsor and has the user ID, the combination symmetric key, the first symmetric key, and a second private key store thereat.
