Abstract:
A means for restricting the axial displacement of a retainer (11a) for a clutch relative to a metallic inner ring (3a) is configured so that the amount of working of the inner ring (3a) is reduced. Semispherical engagement recesses (22) are formed in the cam surfaces (6) of the inner ring (3a), and semispherical engagement protrusions (23) are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the rim (12b) of the retainer (11a) for a clutch. A restriction means is formed by engaging the engagement recesses (22) and the engagement protrusions (23) with each other, and the restriction means restricts the axial displacement of the retainer (11a) for a clutch relative to the inner ring (3a) during the mounting of the retainer (11a) to the outer diameter side of the cam surface (6).
