Abstract:
Provided is a one-way damper mechanism that is capable of causing a rotary damper to operate normally by appropriately engaging a gear with said damper, and that is thus capable of reducing backlash. A one-way damper mechanism (1) is provided with: a gear holding member (30) that is provided with a gear (20) engaged with a rack (10) and that moves relatively to the rack (10); and a damper holding member (60) that is provided with a rotary damper (50) and that moves relatively to the rack (10), wherein the state changes between a brake state where the gear (20) and a damper gear (54) are engaged with each other and a release state where the gear (20) and the damper gear (54) are separated from each other.
