Abstract:
An online document commenting method and apparatus. The method comprises: monitoring an operation of a user on a display interface, and recognizing a commenting behavior of commenting on a first document (101); when the commenting behavior is recognized, acquiring the format of the first document, and determining whether the format of the first document is a pre-set format (102); if the format of the first document is not the pre-set format, converting the format of the first document in order to generate a second document, wherein the format of the second document is the pre-set format (103); and receiving comment information regarding the second document, and displaying the comment information (104). By means of the method, it is possible to present comment content to a user having a comment requirement, and not present the comment content to a user having no comment requirement, thereby avoiding the problems in the prior art of space occupation and network resource waste caused by displaying a comment input box and existing comments below a document.
