Abstract:
The present invention relates to an online electric vehicle system segment switching apparatus and a control method therefor. The online electric vehicle system according to the present invention comprises: a plurality of first switches, each switching having one end connected to the positive terminal of a DC input voltage; a plurality of second switches, each switch having one end connected to the negative terminal of the DC input voltage; a plurality of segments formed among different contact points out of a plurality of contact points that are formed by connecting the other end of the respective first switches and the other end of the respective second switches in one-to-one correspondence; a power detector for detecting a power change in a segment where the online electric vehicle system is located and an adjacent segment, among the plurality of segments; and a controller for controlling ON/OFF of the first and second switches, respectively, to interrupt the power supply to a segment in a power decreasing direction and to supply the power to a segment in a power increasing direction, among the segments in which the power change is detected by the power detector.
