Abstract:
Provided is an open air layer-type vibration reduction structure as a new means which can effectively reduce vibrations caused by a load such as an impact. The open air layer-type vibration reduction structure is provided with at least one plate-like member, the top surface of which faces toward the open space side, and a frame spaced at an interval from the underside surface of the plate-like member, and an air layer is formed between the plate-like member and the frame. An air-permeable ventilation portion is formed in at least either the plate-like member or the frame, so that the average value of the ventilation resistance in the surface of at least either the plate-like member or the frame, on which an air layer is formed, is 0-1,000 N∙s/m3. Furthermore, the ventilation portion is configured so that the level of a sound pressure generated within the air layer by applying an external force to the air layer is reduced by 3 dB or more in dominant frequency on the basis of the characteristics of a series of systems comprised of the plate-like member, the frame, and the air layer, in comparison with a plate-like member and a frame, which have no air permeability.
