Abstract:
The present invention provides an open-close type ratchet wrench including: a head having a hollow portion with one open side; a ratchet wheel having an interior with a mounting portion which has one open side to enable a bolt head or a nut to be laterally inserted into or extracted from the mounting portion and to cover a part of the side surface of the bolt head or the nut, wherein the ratchet wheel has an outer wall coupled to the inner wall of the hollow portion such that the ratchet wheel is rotatable about the rotating axis of the bolt head or the nut inserted in the mounting portion; and a first open-close bar coupled to the ratchet wheel to open or close the one open side of the mounting portion. As one side of the ratchet wrench of the present invention is openable to enable a bolt nut or a nut to be laterally inserted into the ratchet wrench, the mounting of the bolt head or the nut is made dramatically easier. Further, the ratchet wheel covers the entire outer surface of the bolt head or the nut when one side of the ratchet wrench is closed to close the space where the bolt head or the nut is mounted, thereby applying a torque in a stable manner.
