Abstract:
Provided is an open resonator that can more accurately measure the dielectric properties of a sample having anisotropy in the dielectric constant thereof. The open resonator comprises: two spherical surface reflection mirrors each having two reflection spherical surfaces disposed facing each other; and a signal injection unit that inputs an input signal for measuring the dielectric properties of a sample disposed between the two reflection spherical surfaces. At least one spherical surface reflection mirror between the two spherical surface reflection mirrors has a groove disposed along the reflection spherical surface of the at least one spherical surface reflection mirror.
