Abstract:
Provided is an openable apparatus configured such that an engaging member such as a locking hook is effectively prevented from accidentally bumping against a housing during handling of an opening member. The openable apparatus is provided with a housing (1), a door (2) which is an opening member for opening or closing an opening on the housing (1), an actuating member (31) and an engaging member (33) which are provided on the door (2), and a keeper member (11) which is provided on the housing (1), said openable apparatus keeping the door (2) in the closed position by engaging the engaging member (33) with the keeper member (11). The actuating member (31), which serves additionally as a knob for opening and closing the door (2), moves from the closing position (P1) upon receipt of an unlocking action, and reaches the opening position (P2) while accumulating an actuating force for returning to the closing position (P1) during the movement from the closing position (P1) to the opening position (P2). The engaging member (33) is provided with a working area where the engaging member (33) interlocks with the actuating member (31) and a working area where the engaging member (33) does not interlock with the actuating member (31). While the actuating member (31) is moving from the closing position (P1) to the opening position (P2), the engaging member (33) is interlocked so as to move from the locked position (Q1) to a middle position (Q3), and at this time cannot pass an aperture edge (1a) on the housing (1). Subsequently, when the actuating member (31) has reached the opening position (P2), the engaging member (33) moves further, from the middle position (Q3) to the unlocked position (Q2) where the engaging member (33) can pass the aperture edge (1a) on the housing (1). Then, when the actuating member (31) as the knob has opened the door (2) in this state, the actuating member (31) is restrained by a restraining means (E).
