Abstract:
An openable top lid for a railway freight car and a railway freight car. The openable top lid comprises a cylinder (1), a connecting bar (2) and a movable top lid (3); a carriage of a railway freight car mounted with the movable top lid can be used to economically and efficiently transport granular cargo requiring anti-wetting and anti-humidity measures, or granular cargo harmful to the environment. The movable top lid can slide along a top of the car or a lateral wall having a variable-arc radial cross section, thus making full use of the car clearance, enabling a railway car to increase car volume and lower the center of gravity thereof.
