CLAIM

1 -IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO A PIVOTING AUTOMATIZER DIVICE FOR DOOR AUTOMATIC OPENING", characterized by a main body (1) formed from a support (2) in "L" shape support, in whose lower section (3) an engine is fastened (4) whose axis (5) is inserted into the lower gear box (6) fastened on the engine base (7) and on the support (8) through screws, being the said axis (5) coupled to the gear (9) locked through the axle pin (10), whereas its end (1 1) is supported on the bearing (12) displaced on the lower gear box (6), being that the gear (9) leads another gear (14) fastened to an axis (15) supported on bearings (16) and coupled to upper (17) and lower friction disks (18), above which brake pads are verified (19), being that below that set plate springs are protruded (20) separate by a limiter (21), conditioned in an involucre (22) that protrudes transversely a support (23) that conditions a rod (24) connected to a stem (25), that is inserted into the articulating cylinder body (31) and on the articulated sphere (32) provided with articulating axis (33) that is inserted into the cylindrical bush (34), forming an articulating set (35) fastened to articulating chassis (36) fastened to the door half being that the potentiometer (29) fastened to the coupler (26) provided with compression spring (27) positioned below the compensating base (28) of the potentiometer (29), that provides the port position reading through the controlling board (37) commanded by a software and powered by a transformer (38) or a keyed source, in addition to the fact the front panel (39) is provided with an on/off button (40), being that the articulating cylinder body (31) also has the function of locking the articulating sphere (32).

Description:

OPENER FOR SWINGING DOOR

The present application refers to the invention of an "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO A PIVOTING AUTOMATIZER DIVICE FOR DOOR AUTOMATIC OPENING", developed to be installed in several door models in a way to enable their opening through the drive of a presence sensor, buttons or any device that provides the access control, thus avoiding the need of its opening through the knob.

The PI 9601098-3 patent details a drive device of pivoted doors that, according to the invention, is constituted of a mechanism operated by pedal, which includes conical gears, being the upper gear coupled to an endless thread displaced on the upper part of the door opening, in which a cursor block is mounted with right-left movement through a connecting pin on the upper part of the door half, being that on the lower gear of this vertical stem a gear which operates like a ratchet is actionable by a with pedal-shaped end lever which though the support of the user's foot provides the device drive and the door automatic opening, without the need of using the hands.

On the other on the addition certificate of the same patent is foreseen an automatic drive device, within the same inventive concept and with drive varying forms, also by means and electronic devices and by the use of electric engine.

Being the device provided with electronic command and formed by a set that includes a micro-engine coupled to a micro-reducer, through which rotating movements are transmitted to an endless thread maintained in a support-chassis, located on the upper part of the door half.

A sliding sleeve is mounted along this endless thread, in whose

elbow-shaped lower part, is kept in a sliding way an extended rod horizontally displaced, this rod is fastened through a plate at the door head, in a way to transmit to it the movements pressed to it by the endless thread when the micro-engine is driven. The set of electronic command is completed by sensors for each door side (internal and external), a command board subject to a source and to a current rectifier.

Under these conditions, by means of the said electronic command device, the door drive will be made automatically by the mere approximation of a person or object at a certain distance from the door, which can be controlled thanks to sensors, so as the user can go by the door space without using his/her hands which are kept free, avoiding any contact with knobs, latches, etc., being that the sensors are adjustable to capture different distances and people or things in the most diversified circumstances, making the use of the device useful for the most diversified applications, and this system can include the use of the well-known electric lock, enabling its use on external doors and allowing for any door to be opened or closed automatically from the distance, also enabling that by means of using a card reader the door only opens to the authorized bearer to enter at a certain place. In case of electric power surge, a device which disaπns the system allowing for the normal use of doors, or also the system power up is foreseen, should maximum security be needed to a current generator.

In a derivative displacement, there isn't the use of endless thread in the device, being the port half automatic movement subject directly to an interconnected horizontal driving arm that receives the movements through a micro-engine, so we have a micro-engine appropriately installed on the upper part of the door and above its half, which is coupled to a micro-

reducer which through a vertical axis and a gear transmits oscillating and side movements to the extended aim, in which a sleeve fixed by ears on the door upper half is mounted, it also composes this system sensors, one on each side of the door half, an electronic command board and a current rectifier.

It is aim of the present patent application to provide the market with an "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO A PIVOTING AUTOMITIZER DEVICE FOR DOOR AUTOMATIC OPENING", comprised by a main body formed from a an L-shaped support in whose lower section is fastened an engine whose axis is inserted into the lower gear box fastened on the engine base and on the support through screws, being the said axis coupled to the gear though the axle pin while its end is supported on the bearing displaced on the lower gear box being that the gear leads another gear fastened on an axis supported on bearings and coupled on upper and lower friction disks, over which brake pads are verified, being that below that set plate springs separated by a limiter, are protruded which are conditioned on an involucre that transversally protrudes a support which conditions a rod connected to a stem which is inserted into the articulating cylinder body and on the articulated sphere provided with articulating axis inserted into the cylindrical bush, forming an articulated set which is fastened to the articulating chassis fixed on the door half being that the potentiometer fixed on the coupler provided with compression spring positioned below the potentiometer's compensating base, which provides the door position reading through the controlling board controlled by a software and powered by a transformer or a keyed source, in addition to the fact that the front panel is provided with an on/off button, being that the articulating cylinder body also has the function of locking the articulate

sphere.

In order to obtain a perfect understanding of what has been developed, illustrative drawings are attached to which numerical references are made together witli a detailed description, where: Illustration 1 displays a blown up view of the set.

As the drawings imply and in their details, we can observe that the "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO A PIVOTING AUTOMATIZER DIVICE FOR DOOR AUTOMATIC OPENING" comprised by a main body (1) formed from a support (2) in "L" shape, in whose lower section (3) fastened on the engine base (4) whose axis (5) is inserted in the lower gear box (6) fastened to the engine base (7) and on the support (8) through screws, being the said axis (5) coupled to the gear (9) locked through the axle pin (10), while its end (11) is supported on a bearing (12) displaced on the lower gear (6), being that the gear (9) lead another gear (14) which is fastened on an axis (15) supported on bearings (16) and coupled to upper (17) and lower (18) friction disks, above which brake pads are verified (19), being that below this set plate springs are protruded (20) separate by a limiter (21 ), conditioned in an involucre (22) protrudes transversely a support (23) that conditions a rod (24) connected to a stem (25), that is inserted into the articulating cylinder body (31) and into the articulate sphere (32) provided with articulating axis (33) that is inserted into the cylindrical bush (34), foπning an articulating set (35) that is fastened to the articulating chassis (36) fastened to the port half, being that the potentiometer (29) fastened to the coupler (26) is provided with compression spring (27) positioned below the compensating base (28) of the potentiometer (29), which provides the port position reading through the controlling board (37) commanded by a software and powered by a transfonner (38) or a keyed

source, in addition to the fact that the front panel (39) is provided with an on/off button (40), being that the articulating cylinder body (31) also has the function of locking the articulating sphere (32).

Based on the what has been described and illustrated it's realized that the "IMPROVEMENT INTRODUCED TO A PIVOTING AUTOMATIZER DIVICE FOR DOOR AUTOMATIC OPENING" it consists of a device that can be installed beside the door fastened below the upper crossbar of the windowsill and close to the upper hinge, also being the chassis able to, with the door coupling, be fastened to the internal side and above the windowsill and with the machine coupled to the door chassis.

This electronic command system in its most simplified form allows the same door automatic opening and closing conditions, with the same practical and utilitarian advantages, without the need of using the users' hands, which remain free and exempt from any contaminating contact, mainly in public places, rest rooms, hospitals, etc., besides other advantages. The system is driven by an electronic command, through a micro- engine driven by sensors appropriately positioned, by which the movement is transmitted to the driving element of the door half, this by means of the mere approximation of people or objects who intend to pass though the port space, what besides the device's advantages, already mentioned, facilitates significantly the use by physically or even visually disabled, allowing the passage in wheel chairs, etc., always with the same advantages of excluding the contact of the hands on knobs and latches, increasing, this way, significantly the device's advantages for automatic opening of doors, which not only opens but closes doors without using the users' hands and feet, in a comfortable and safe way. By being innovative and until then not understood in the state of the technique it's perfectly fit into the criteria which define the

invention patent. Its claims} are the following ones.
