Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an operating device equipped with a piezoelectric sensor, the output of which changes when a strain is induced in an enclosure. [Solution] Piezoelectric sensors are adhered to the inner surface of an enclosure 11. A first piezoelectric sensor S1a is displaced an angle of 45 degrees from a second piezoelectric sensor S2a, and each of these piezoelectric sensors has a width dimension corresponding to an angle of 90 degrees. A first opposite piezoelectric sensor S1b facing the first piezoelectric sensor S1a, and a second opposite piezoelectric sensor S2b facing the second piezoelectric sensor S2a, are provided, and the outputs of all piezoelectric sensors are added together to make it possible to obtain a detection output when any part of the enclosure 11 is pressed.
