Abstract:
Wireless communication between an operating machine and a portable terminal is facilitated while power consumption is decreased to enable a long period of use. An operating machine access point device (4) for performing communication between an operating machine (2) and a portable terminal (3) is provided with: a communication process unit (30) for performing a communication process with the portable terminal (3) while producing a beacon output; and a process halting unit (40) for halting the communication process unit (30). The process halting unit (40) temporarily halts the communication process unit (30) in a beacon output period in which the beacon output is produced.
