Title:
OPERATING METHOD FOR OPERATING A DEVICE FOR THE OPTIMISED STIMULATION OF AT LEAST ONE PROBAND BY MEANS OF PULSATING ELECTROMAGNETIC AND/OR ELECTRICAL FIELDS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2003043695
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to an operating method for operating a device for the optimised stimulation of at least one proband by means of pulsating electromagnetic and/or electrical fields. A memory card is provided, which can be individually programmed and co-operates with a reading/writing unit which is arranged in the stimulation device. The biological amplitude window of the respective proband and the cardiac/circulatory functions thereof are then determined. Subsequently, field intensities and frequency patterns for a stimulation program are calculated on the basis of the cited determined data for the proband. The stimulation program data is then stored on the memory card and/or in another data storage unit which is provided in the device. Application times and or application counts are retained and are stored in a protected region of the memory card as quasi protocol data. The protocol and stimulation program data is then retrieved by an authorised and qualified person for examination, and the stimulation program data is updated and transferred to the memory card and/or to the data storage unit provided in the device.
