Abstract:
Operating method of a printing press and a printing press in which tension of a
web can be stabilized quickly and economy can be enhanced by reducing paper loss.
In the operating method of a printing press where a plurality of rollers are provided
on the passage of a web (7), the web (7) is conveyed by these rollers and printing
is performed on the web (7) by means of a print cylinder, a tension imparting operation
for increasing the tension of the web is performed under such a state that at least
one of the rollers having an effect on the tension of the web (7) out of rollers provided
on the passage of the web (7) is kept touching the web (7) and the print cylinder
is kept free, and then printable state is brought about by accelerating the web
(7). Consequently, the tension of the web (7) is stabilized quickly and paper
loss can be reduced.
