Abstract:
The present invention estimates the occurrence of an abnormality in a power-generating facility. The present invention also estimates a loss due to the abnormality. An acquisition unit acquires an actual value of an amount of power generated by the power-generating facility. An estimation unit uses the actual value to estimate the occurrence of an abnormality event, on the basis of a characteristic of the amount of power generated corresponding to a prescribed abnormality event occurring in the power-generating facility. A power generation amount estimation unit obtains an estimated value for what the amount of power generated by the power-generating facility would be if the abnormality event had not occurred. A loss estimation unit compares the actual value with the estimated value, and thereby estimates a loss amount attributable to the abnormality event.
