Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an operation device and shift device for a vehicle which provides a positive shift feed and has superior resilience. The operation device (100) is characterized by comprising an operation member (1), a support member (2) comprising a tilt shaft (12e), a first movable member (H13), second movable member (H23), first magnetic body (M14), second magnetic body (M24), and first permanent magnet (E15) on one side of the tilt shaft (12e), and a third movable member (H33), fourth movable member (H43), third magnetic body (M34), fourth magnetic body (M44), and second permanent magnet (E25) on the other side of the tilt shaft (12e), wherein when the operation member (1) is tilted toward the other side from a reference position to a plurality of positions, first, the first magnetic body (M14) separates from the first permanent magnet (E15) and the third magnetic body (M34) approaches the second permanent magnet (E25) to be retained thereby, then the second magnetic body (M24) separates from the first permanent magnet (E15) and the fourth magnetic body (M44) approaches the second permanent magnet (E25) to be retained thereby. The operation device (100) is applied preferably to a shift device for a vehicle.
